Xbox Series X can play all Xbox One games, but does not currently support ones with Kinect.
I have a dedicated Xbox One with Kinect for the kids to play Just Dance on, haven't attempted to connect it to the Xbox Series X I have until now, guess Microsoft does not want to enable support for it since they discontinued it.
Kind of odd since Just Dance just released a new 2022 version for the Kinect.... hopefully there will be a new Kinect system for the new gen systems

The part I'm not sure about is.... There is an Xbox One version of the game and an Xbox Series X|S version of the game. And if you buy the Xbox One version, you get the free upgrade to the Series X|S version via Smart Delivery.
However, on the Gamestop page, it only lists the Xbox Series X version. So ideally, if you want Kinect support, you would buy the Xbox One version and play Kinect on the old console. And then get the free Series X|S version and use your phone as the controller. But if Gamestop is truly selling only the Series X|S version, then you will never be able to play the Kinect version on Xbox One.
So I just looked at the game box and it lists both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S... So I'm going to guess that the game is the Xbox One version with the Series X|S upgrade.
I'm even tempted by the subscription. I tried it a long time ago and it's just liberating not to have to keep track of which disc has what song. I remember a friend wanting to dance to a song on something like 2018 and then someone wanted a song on 2019. So I'd have to switch discs and wait to reload again. And then someone picks a song on another disc!
