I wish someone would have told me before, but if you bought a lot of games from the oculus store with the rift s, it does not transfer over. Some games are cross buy but if you buy beat saber for rift, you'll have to buy it again for the quest. Bummer because I had so many of the expensive games too 🥺

Why would they do that? Seems like they are discouraging buying their newer tech.

You can play most of your Rift games tethered to Quest 2; you just have to use a nice high bandwidth USB cable to connect to the Quest 2.
So as long as you don't mind being tethered to your PC, quest 2 can function as a Rift.

They've just updated their referral promo today! Now when you sign up through a friend or family's referral link you'll get $60 in free store credit! Before it was just $30. The promo ends on 12/06/21 and then it goes back down to $30 again.
The person who provides the link will still only get $30.

What a cool deal though!!
