Are you sure this is limited to the 90 day computers and TV return policy? When I asked about gaming consoles over a year ago they said they are not limited to 90 days. Not sure if they changed their policies again or if the VR system is categorized differently.

Is this available in store at a cheaper price or just without the S&H?

From what I know, yes, it's 90 days return. It's better for you to ask Costco concierge to clarify - But hey! If it's not 90 days, then it's a win! Not sure about the stores, sometimes B&M may run the same promo or not.

I saw it yesterday at Costco Fountain Valley. Not sure about the $50 tho.

Sam's deal seems better. 256Gb is overkill and you'll notice the improvement of the elite strap more than the extra storage.

That's only for the 128gb model while the Costco is 256gb. I'll gladly spend an extra $30 for twice the storage considering you get the same $50 gift card

Sams club comes with elite strap and battery though. Not sure how much that is worth.
