Can you play this solo? Is there a story mode? Or is it online MMO only?
If someone can confirm, last I looked into this, you can play Solo, but there is no campaign. You'd simply be biking down the mountain by yourself for instance and not racing against any AI - so the only purpose of Solo is to beat your best time and learn the tracks.
Has anyone had any luck trying to get the digital version for the same price? Me and brother game share and I want to get this game but we don't buy physical copies. Wonder if Wal-Mart would price match for a digital copy? Trying to manipulate this deal haha. Thanks in advance
It's a pretty fun game, but very shallow gameplay. I bought it digitally near release, played it for about an hour and a half, and then got a refund. At $25 I would have kept it.
How did you get a refund? Once you download it isn't their policy no refunds? Just curious cuz I've downloaded games I didn't like and didn't know they might give my money back.
Anyone play this who also played the beta? Have the controls been improved upon? I was expecting the snow sports to be like Steep but they sucked in the beta. Controls were awful.
This isn't for the Xbox series s because only the physical version is on sale. Digital is still regular price.
Just another reason why all digital consoles are NOT the way to go. The marketplace is literally a monopoly. Since you have no other choice but to buy through them there is no competition.
I paid 60 bucks 3 weeks ago when it released. Highly recommend.. but like I just paid double in less than a month 🤬 regardless, there is a heavy use of the word "Stoked" and some cringey cut scenes.. but gameplay is FUN AF!!!! Like 10/10 on the Fun scale. 64 player mass races and trick events. Open world with about 8 real world locations. Most polished is the Bike riding in this game. You can Bike, Ski, Snowboard, Wing suite, Jetpack, Snowmobile, Parachute, Paraglide, Jet boosted extra modes & the best part is you an switch seamless at almost any time u want between them all. Plus rewind instantly after crashes, or to perfect a setup. Lil bit if a learning curve on all the controls. But you have the ability to auto land spins and rotations.. or Expert mode for more points and achievements. I highly recommend this game at $25. Only thing holding this game back is Ubisoft pay walls for the best Costumes. But DLC for BMX addition next year looks promising
Can you tell me if this is like Downhill Domination? I played the hell out of the demo on the PS2. I loved that it had 4 player spilt screen as well. I know this doesn't have a single player campaign, but if there's local coop multiplayer that'd be awesome
This response just made my day... been looking for the next up SSX type of game. My wife and I played the balls off all SSX series.
If you're mainly interested in snowboarding then you might want to start with Steep. It's cheap now (also included with Xbox Game Pass if you have that) and has lots of expansion content available. I came back to Steep for years, mainly trying to beat my friend's high scores.

As long as you purchase the same game for the same gaming console it'll have identical barcode
You can price match to Target. That's what I did.
