Good mouse for $20. Currently using one and I think I prefer it to the g502.

Thanks for sharing. I was trying to decide between the G502 that I ordered for $35 a couple weeks ago (still unopened and unused) or the MX518. I've been using the MX518 for several years now and love it. Right button starting to go bad.

Any other opinions of MX518 vs G502? I'm leaning towards the G502 because of the 25k sensor, vs 16k on the MX518. I'm not sure how much of a difference it really makes.

Pretty sure they share the same sensor.

Got a couple for $15 last year to replace my og 518s (that were still working, just old and crusty)

Use it for work (lots of clicks) and wore left mouse button out already.

Logitech sent me new one under warranty, but just saying they dont make em like they used to.

They actually have different sensors. The MX518 has the Hero 16K sensor with 100 - 16, 000 DPI range.

The G502 has the Hero 25K sensor, with 100 - 25,600 max dpi sensitivity. I don't know if I'll use the weights in the G502, but might be interesting to try. Still trying to decide.....

They should have made it wireless. No reason not to.

There's plenty of wireless mice they offer. Wired, 16k dpi in a non-flashy package is appealing.

I had to fix a mouse like that by disassembling it and putting a dab of super glue on the worn area and flattening it out
