it was decent mouse, but why are you buying a 17 years old mouse design?
there is absolutely no better mouse for $20

It's a re-release of the original. The shell is the exact same but the internals are totally modern and actually gaming focused, while the original was more meant for office productivity. Now it has 1000hz report rate and 16000 dpi with logitech's Hero sensor.

The only thing same about the mouse is the shape/design. it has the 16K HERO sensor. That design is probably the most used gaming mouse ever.

I have a lot of mouse, keeping some for extra, even wired mouse that cost more than 100 bucks before, but this is my favorite mouse, among all the fancy mouse that I've used

Yes true. I posted it because i still have mine from 2005 which still works, but is getting worn out. So that is why i bought another one. I tried all new and modern mice that cost over $100 through out the years and kept going back to my logitech 518. The new mice are either too fragile, too many buttons, require additional software to work correctly or just don't fit the hand comfortably. So, why change to something else that isn't plugn play and fits like a glove? Above all else for $20? I use mine for gaming and daily work use. Can't beat it for the value..
