There are plenty of fakes floating around for this card. Some even coming from Amazon. You can easily look at the edge of the card to identify fakes. The thickness edge needs to be white.

Sandisk was one that seemed to have been cloned the most. Even Amazon's supply chain got hit at some points, so you weren't really sure you were getting the real thing. It seems to have calmed down over the past year or so. Generally, the size wouldn't register what it should have been. So if you've got a 512GB one that can actually read/write 512GB, you're probably good.
