Hi There, I just have got this phone from a store near me. He agreed to take my Google voice number at the port process and gave me the phone for 99$. Does that mean the porting process should be ok? Or it can be rejected later? Anyone got the Google Voice number ported to Metro

I have Tello as my main provider and when the Authorized dealer Store guy tried that number they said its not eligible. So I have used the GV number and he said it works and he got me into the deal that was mentioned in the OP which is 99$ +6$(tax)+$60(service fee for first month)+20$(Activation fee). But I am still waiting for the port process to complete. As its not yet done.
So i am waiting for someone if they ever did complete the Google Voice port into Metro, as Metro is telling me that they consider GV number as Landline and can take time.

Metro is strictly not allowing to unlock the phone before 180 days even it's fully paid, any other legit way to unlock the phone.

After a really bad experience at a local Corporate Store when porting in my RedPocket's ATT number, and trade in to get OnePlus Nord N10 5G two weeks ago, after putting in some thoughts and going through many reviews, I went back to the same corporate store today to port in another number. This time I asked to get the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G at the best deal. Like always, they try to upsell and/or try to sell at the most money. I then showed the website ad for A52 for $99 with port-in + $60 monthly, along with another ad for $30 for adding second line. I reminded them of the terrible experience last time, and this new/different guy was so nice and polite; he said he remembered it was a different colleague and apologized on his behalf. The manager was right next to him, and since the manager also remembered Wink she was being extra nice to me and told me about several promotions that could save me more money, including one that was $40 monthly for two 5G unlimited lines, and I just needed to add the second line via port in. And few minutes later, apologized and said that promo expired yesterday. Oh well, it seemed I couldn't get the phone for $99 + $30 as second line. So, to not waste more time, I asked to get the $99 phone +$60 monthly as advertised on their website. They told me that was the best deal, and I couldn't get any lower plan. I took their words with a grain of salt, told them they were awesome compared to my previous encounter with a different rep, thanked them and paid $176 for phone +1 month + insurance. One thing that could probably have saved me some money was to add the second port in line to my primary account, for $30 monthly. But they told me adding second line to my account with port in would actually increase my monthly by about $10, with a weird grin on his face; what a load of crap. So, he actually insisted on my getting that purchase on a second account; I said ok.

I came home, called customer service right away, and told the lady my two encounters with Metro corporate store, and asked her to confirm the statements by the rep at the store. She was shocked and apologized for the bad experience at the store. She told me adding line should actually save me money. Then she checked and merged my two lines to my primary account, reducing monthly for the second line from $60 to $60, instantly saving me $30 per month. She was also able to remove insurance which I didn't ask for at the store, crediting to my account.

Lesson learned - if corporate stores extort money from you with upsells + higher/more expensive plans, fraudulent statement, call customer service to verify and they can fix things in your favor. Even better, if you could call right from the store, so the store reps can't lie to you.

Wow. They lied again after getting caught.

Last time they tried to sell me insurance, I told them I never broke my phone, I don't need insurance. Then I traded in a phone with cracked screen. Now I feel good about that.

When I checked with a local corporate store, they offered only two options for A52: port-in + $100 + $60 monthly, or $200 (with $100 back via gift card)+$25 monthly. Just to re-confirm, they also gave you a $100 + port-in + trade-in + $25 monthly plan for A52? Which corporate store was that? If that's true, then I'm gonna go back to the store and return my OnePlus N10 (which I traded in) and ask to replace with A52.
Sorry just seeing this but yes that is what I got. Bought the a52 for $200 with $100gc after 3 months and $25/month price for 2 years with port in and trade in. They did not offer it initially and was about to do only $100 a52 with port in and $60/month before I asked was there any deals with also trading in my phone.

I just asked him to try it out the GV number when he asked for carrier I said its Google Fi. But when he looked in the system it was under Broadcam Landline service. It was done at AD store.
I think the good part here is the rep working at the store is new and accepted this port in.
