for dash cam, its better to get a high endurance card, as for this card its overkill if you're not recording in 4k in your dash cam.

for my 1080p dashcam, i'm using a u1 class 10 samsung card I got years ago.

Also, check your dash cam on max supported SD card size. Many lower end or older models only support 64GB max. The newer ones should take a 256GB card. But it is always a good idea to check.

If said PC games are titles like Diablo, DOTA, CS:S, or Starcraft. Don’t expect to play Forza Horizon 5 or Death Stranding off of it.

Faster speeds. V30 class
V30 is significantly faster, especially for sustained write speeds. It's particularly important for shooting 4K videos, as lower speeds may cause write failures (V30 signifies write speeds will never fall below 30MB/s). Not necessarily as useful for smartphones though in most cases, as dedicated video cameras have slightly cheaper full-size SD card options. For those who like the versatility of moving a microSD between many devices though (can't chop a full-size up!), this is a good option. I'm tempted, but I already have a lot of cards.

That is the older gen. This one has about 30% faster read/write speeds.

With 10% Raku10 cashback, and going through Samsung Educational Discount Program, this is a much better deal.

Thanks OP. Was tracking this since some days to add to the Samsung Tab S7+ deal from 2 weeks back. Bought one.

Going through Samsung Educational Discount Program got this to $61.25, and Raku10 had 10% cashback, so this ended up being about $55 plus tax!

The prior version really do go as fast as advertised - which I can't say about many other brands. I expect this new faster one to be just as honest.

I also use it in my camera (a7iii) as it comes with the adapter, very reliable too so far.
