Anyone actually do this and receive some sort of mention of the $450 card? I needed to upgrade my son's phone anyway so I went ahead with an old iPhone 6S (which was worth $5).

I was going to do this regardless but I'd love to get the $450 card. It's just weird that all the marketing stuff is different ("get a $450 card" vs "up to $450"), and once you go through the process there is zero confirmation or mention of it anywhere.

Xfinity is notorious for not following through on gift card delivery, even when they have specifically promised to do so. How much worse will they be with some mystery promo where we have nothing in writing save for marketing materials?

I went to the Xfinity Store just now. The staff member pointed to several phones that had the $450 gift card offer placard next to them. He said the $450 offer only applied to those phones.

I went through the steps to order one of those (Iphone 11) with a qualified trade in (Iphone 6s) and the $450 offer still did not appear in my cart. He didn't have any information and gave me the XM Customer Service number, which I've already spoken to (India Call Center, where they ask for your SSN to look into things).

The phones with the $450 placard next to them were: Iphone 11, Samsung Galaxy A42, A12, A52, Motorola moto g pure, moto g play, moto g stylus, one 5G ace. I believe the Iphone SE was also included with a slightly different placard that mentioned the $450 gift card in fine print.

The phone I purchased this week (Iphone 13) only listed the $200 offer next to it at the store.

If anyone goes to the XM Store and also only finds those phones (above) included for $450 gift card offer, please share.

That is weird, as the internal flyer shown in post 95 (page 7 of this thread) makes no mention of specific phones. It just says "customer must purchase and activate a new phone from XM" and that byod does not qualify.

I printed and took that flier with me and read it to the staff member. He seemed unfamiliar with it. He said the manager put the $450 gift card placards next to the phones listed in his directive. I did not have time to drive to another store to see if they had the same phones paired with the $450 placards. And the stores don't have direct phone numbers to call and ask.

It would really be something if the promo only applied to eligible phones, but they never say anywhere on the website what phones are eligible.

Maybe intentional, or maybe they'll clarify when they're back in the office next week, lol.

Note the iphone SE is not completely *free*. You still need to pay its sale tax of the price $399.

Would be nice if someone who did the deal has the $450 prepaid gift card in their account with the xfinity rewards tracker and can tell us when it shows up. Is it after trade in and activation, or how many days after?

I ordered a Pixel 6 Pro and am trading in my old S9. The Pixel is back ordered. The ETA for the new Pixel is 1/14/2022 and right after I ordered I got an email saying to send the trade-in (my S9) in within 21 days. Did this happen to anyone else? Here is what the trade-in email says:

"Your trade-in offer amount is valid until 12/18/2021, so make sure we receive the phone by that date. If we receive your phone after this date, your offer amount may be adjusted."

That's contrary to the information what's shared in this thread. There was no specific details for trade in phones to be eligible for gift card. I went today with my S8 and added a new line for 13 pro max. He confirmed I will be eligible for $450 gift card and $200 for adding new line which will be credited in next 24 months. Now I am confused.

Even I wanted iPhone 13 pro max silver color and it was back ordered till year end. They said since you will be getting phone in next year, they can't confirm if I will be getting $450 gift card as this promotion will be ended. Gift card will be shipped around 30 days after phone activation. I ended by choosing blue color which was available and expecting phone by Wednesday.

I went to a store and upgraded 2 of my existing phones, Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 to Pixel 6 and iPhone 13. The weird thing is, no information was asked for the trade-in. I was told to simply take the old devices to the stores when the new phones arrive and would be eligible for two $450 gift cards. Nothing was also mentioned about the up to $150 trade-in values. However, I talked to customer support later and per them, my order at the store should have had the trade-in evaluation. It seems like no one at Xfinity has any clue how to handle this. I will most likely not open any of the two new phones and return them just to be safe.

Having been with Xfinity Mobile since the very beginning, I have seen them run various promos that were poorly handled - conflicting information, lack of follow through on gift cards, and general confusion (particularly from the online chat agents). But this one is by far the most confusing.

I went ahead and did two trade-ins anyway, since I was going to do them in the next month or so regardless of the promo. I'll either get $900 worth of gift cards or settle for just the $20 total trade in value. Quite a difference.

I definitely would not have went for it if the gift card was a make-or-break factor. There's just no telling what might happen.
