That said - China (currently) makes almost everything and the build quality can be very high (Apple) because of the requirements. Other phones are manufactured in the same plants, but it costs more, so those are your better phones.
On a sub-$100 aluminum tripod? I'd say that the name brand from the brand's store it's a solid buy.
From the details, it actually fits Arca Swiss plates, which all of my stuff was switched to a long time ago, so I'd call it a win.
Is it an 055 pro? No; it's not meant to be.

The binoculars have great reviews for quality and ease of use but a tripod is recommended. Don't know if the tripod needs particular features, or if even a $30 unit can do it.

Well, this is a case of a normally high-end brand that makes their carbon fiber stuff in Italy going for the lower-end consumer market by making an aluminum one from China.

I've had this for about a year and use it with my Sony A7 III and a heavy Sigma Art lens and no issues. I did have to weigh it down when taking some Astrophotography shots, but was very windy that night. (it has a hook under the main pole) It's a solid tripod, but I wouldn't recommend putting say a Telephoto Lens on it or something.
After owning it for a while I do wish I got the one with the latches, but happy overall with it.
I prefer Manfrotto tripods made 20-30 years ago in Italy. They are usually heavy, rock solid and might be available on craigslist, offerup, etc.
