Anyone got shipping date for the rxt3080? Last time I order from HP they delayed my pc alost 4 months so I have to cancel it.

Can anybody confirm if the 5600X 30L motherboard has 2 or 4 memory slots? And is aftermarket memory clocking at 3200 without mods??

30L Ryzen motherboards have 4 slots because it offers 4x8gb kit. When replace the ram with non OEM it will default to 2133 you have use ryzen master program to set it to 1600 for 3200mhz youtube videos on how to do this.

They gave me an estimated delivery date of Dec 21

I don't get why this is more popular than the 3080ti few days ago.
I tried 5800X with rtx 3080, and kept everything else unchanged (256gb ssd, 8gb ram) , total after coupon with EDU account was $1900.

The rtx 3080ti was only $2100 with Intel 11700k, 32gbram, 512ssd+2tb hdd.
What do I miss?

Ah... Okay, so more miners here than gamers I suppose. I read somewhere 3080ti lhr and 3080 non lhr is $0.70 difference or about 30days longer in ROI for the lhr.
But I mean for $200 difference in price while looking at other factors (ram, storage, resale value etc)? 🤔

Lower cost to get a FHR 3080 and probably part out the rest. $500-600+ less than the 3080ti. Quick check on nicehash a FHR 3080 will get ~$1.00 more/day than a 3080 ti. Flip side a LHR 3080 will get ~$1.00 less.

FWIW I have the 3080 ti build in my cart still and am really tempted to just get it. $2160+tax, ships tomorrow instead of who knows when, $75 back from chase/paypal, and 15% back from Perksatwork...looks like under $1900 all said and done.

Its not necessarily more popular. That one is just the one configuration, is marked expired, and has almost as many comments.

This post is a configurator deal with a variety of good options for budget, mid-range, and ability to get the bigger cards in a cheaper box.

Both contain great deals for different targets, but that one is most definitely a better buy if you want a 3080ti in a complete system to use as-is.

For someone that would like to cancel the order. Last order I did on the 3070, HP wouldn't cancel my order do to the wrong address. Instead they told me to go pick up at FEDEX.

Can't add 3080TI with 5600x. That's new last week you could add it.

Selected Processor not compatible with selected Graphic card.
