Unfortunately there was memo sent out this afternoon to all bestbuy stores to validate the unlock state before processing the trade in, or it has to be with the 4 carrier on their trade-in website. This was implemented around 2:30pm PST today.

No. That requires to active installment plan, which means more plan fee or probably hard pull on your credit report.

Same question. Can I put my Tracfone sim (ATT version) in this straight talk locked iphone? That would save the hassle of unlock.

If somebody has tried ordering in Best Buy by selecting a trade-in , what did you choose as a carrier? Straight talk is not displayed in the options. See only Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Unlocked. Will the straight phone be even eligible for trade-in in Best Buy ?

Thanks, repped. That sucks. I was kind of assuming they were linked together, since apparently the Visible iPhones come locked and the eSIM is locked as well, which is stupid, and why I didn't jump on the iPhone 13 Pro Max deal yet, as I have Visible on SIM but Tmo on eSIM.
