If you have gmail and your account hasn't been inactive for 30 days, use the +1 trick. So if your account is [email protected], create a new Hulu account at [email protected]. It's the same account on your end but Hulu will see it as a different email address.

Good deal. Just want to take the time to say that the number of commercials that you have to sit through on their regularly priced ad supported plan os nuts. I could see 1 1:30 minute break during an episode, but there are like 4 during a 40 minute episode.

Thanks OP. Been waiting for this but didn't expect to see .99 again. Currently on 1.99 plan and it expires on the 27th. So perfect timing. Just used a different email! Hulu is worth .99 not the regular plan pricing imo.

Funny thing about Hulu ads. I am watching what is normally a one hour tv drama. The show is over and going to credits, then 90 second ad pops up. I hit the back button twice on my remote, Hulu automatically recommends the next episode and the ad is bypassed. Who in their right mind would sit through an ad at the end of the episode?

I see so many of you changing your email addy or payment, or both. Maybe I just got lucky.

I have used the $1.99 offer couple of years ago but used it to just watch "the handmaid's tale"

but sighed up today to catch up on "will and grace" but bogged down with so many ads. roughly 5 minutes with every 24 min episodes.

You didn't get lucky because as you stated it was account that expired 2 years ago when they. Everyone has to switch emails because they are currently on last years promotional plan which means they aren't eligible for the new plan because screw existing customers.

Do not forget that ublock origin and an ad blocking script (put into the "my filters" section of ublock) blocks all ads, no black screen even

Also if you use discover card and are not charged tax, as long as you have no other charges/balance on the card, discover will forgive the 99 cents meaning you owe nothing
