For people coming to this deal to say that the Washington Post is biased, do you think that because you only read newspapers for their opinion pages? I don't see how you can say the news reporting is biased--facts are neutral. Perhaps you don't like the topics that get reported on, but they are still facts (as in, they actually happen in reality) and not biased.

I have subscriptions to the Post, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times and I think the reporting by all three are excellent and some of the best in the country. I don't read their opinion pages. I encourage you to give their reporting a read, and perhaps you'll find something interesting. It's best to learn more about the facts, then form your own opinions rather than regurgitating someone else's opinions.

And by the way, this is the best deal I've seen for an annual subscription to a major newspaper. Definitely worth it to see if you find the reporting interesting.

You can get the $9.99 rate for a second year if you cancel today and put the reason "promotion ended"

I just tried and I think this worked. I got two years of a premium subscription at the $9.99 rate. Am I reading this wrong?

Due on November 23, 2022
Rate - $9.99 (plus applicable sales tax)

I NEVER read the Washington Post Opinion pieces, but their Fact-based journalism is still top-notch IMO.
I'm really glad they make the distinction and am happy to provide at least a little support to one of the few remaining institutions that at least attempt to make a distinction between fact-based reporting and opinion pieces.

Um, no. It might be OK, but it's certainly not in the Top 10. There's not much info about it out there.

Well, the one I cited is listed on your page. But your page is more comprehensive, so good on you.

NYT and WashPo papers are only good for picking up dog poop. Barely.

Which newspaper should I read to get fair and unbiased reporting?

AllSides.com [allsides.com] is a great site for news.

NTD.com (NTD News) is good for global news.

Yes, they didn't immediately charge me either for the 2nd year. Basically just locking the 9.99 price for the next renewal.
Thank you.

So SD actively censor people who are conservative. All the shit comments are praising WP but they delete anything anti MSM. I thought this site was about reviews. Every product should be criticized specially if it is warranted

How do you access this offer?

If I click on the link to the offer I am told that my access is blocked because of malicious intent.

I have tried on a Win 10 laptop, IPad and IPhone.

Access is blocked.

I have tried Edge and Firefox. They don't allow access.

I have tried pausing Norton on the laptop. Access is still blocked.

If I go directly to Washington Post website the offer is not there. It is USD 150.

I have tried to access the offer by a free proxy server. I get the offer of USD 10 but when I click on the offer the connection dies and times out.

The people who criticize the Washington Post are the same ones who believe that Fox News is "fair and balanced" and that NewsMax leans very slightly to the right.
WaPo is outright propaganda. The definition of "tell me what to think instead of reporting the facts." They're right around CNN with this. Their version of reporting aligns closely with a single party (and before you decry this, consider that we all know exactly which party we're talking about with no further explanation required). They'll even use the slogans like "Build Back Better" and "equity" in their reporting.

WSJ isn't perfect but at least their audience consists of serious people that rely on news for business, so they tend to reduce the nonsense. The only time you'll see "equity" in their reporting is with regard to ownership, which is the way it should be.

Roman balmakov is a known far right propagandist. Far from fact based or without bias.

They are deleting non conservative posts as well. I've had 2 deleted. I assume this one will be deleted as well.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank lobo411

The irony is that the more people post their political interpretations of the deal, the more the thread is bumped and the more subscriptions are sold.

Keep it up! =)

So is slickdeals actually censoring content saying WAPO are liars after it has been proven to be true? If so, I think I will "censor" any deals I might find from this site.
