If this was 300 Nits I'd be all over it. Love the aluminum case.
Looking to replace an old Dell that had great specs when new. Problem is, it's still pretty good even today, 8GB RAM, SSD, metal case not plastic. It's just big and clunky but so what? I can wait for the right deal.
If the screen was a little brighter, I'd pull the trigger on this one. But that's just me.

Find another Dell product, preferably an Inspiron, add it to the cart, and take it to the screen when you can insert the 10% off code. Drop the coupon code in.
Now, is the coupon code working?
If it is working on an Inspiron, that is bad news, as then this Vostro is likely excluded from the coupon.
If the coupon code is not working on an Inspiron, then use a different e-mail of yours and sign up for the Dell newsletter again in order to get another code. Try this new code on the OP Vostro to see whether it works or not. If it still does not on the Vostro but works on an Inspiron, then this Vostro is definitely excluded from the coupon code.

Not sure if they will eventually honor these emails because they have put "If your purchase meets all eligibility requirements of the offer terms" there. Also, the cashback may be revoked because this is "business" though mine is for personal academic usage.
