- no points. Any cards that get some sort of alternate benefit don't get points (e.g. airline cards, etc)
- It's not necessarily a *bad card* since it DOES give you 2% @ Costco which no other card does (and keep in mind Costco only accepts Visa).
the conversion from Citi cashback money to thank you point get a big haircut, and 15% barely offset that
It varies by how you use it:
1. cash back is only 50% of value (YMMV), for me its a statement credit option
2. on Amazon buy using points is 80% value
3. listed gift cards purchases are 100% value, when no sale discount is going on
So it depends on how you use it
One thing I learned the hard way is Citibank cards dropped rental car coverage during covid.. I'm currently stuck with a $750 insurance deductible because of this. Ugh

Bank of America also does 2% warehouse clubs. The Costco card would be useless without 4% gas, 3% restaurant, and 2 year warranty.

They dropped the travel benefits middle of 2019. Covid wasn't even close to a thing yet.

Obviously you've never used the 2 year extended warranty and 60 day accidental damage protection…
In case you didn't know they covered items up to $10,000. Bought a John Deere zero turn their 2 year extended was around $2,000 Citi confirmed their 2 year would cover it saving us the $2000. We could have paid John Deere then Citi would add another 2 years on top of that.

15% off is good.
That list of choices is bad, though--if that's the complete list.
What haircut? $1 cash back converts to 100 points. 100 points is normally $1 in gift cards.
