I agree you could get more for less money in years past. But with supply chain issues and part shortages this is actually a good deal by today's standards.

Just make sure you get a good look at the inside and verify any future GPU or other parts will fit and be compatible.

I doubt HP used a normal ATX board and instead used some proprietary monstrosity with zero room for future upgrades.

A family member recently bought a pre-built and it had 16GB of RAM, but only one stick. So single channel/rank. Not a deal breaker but having 2x8GB is obviously preferred.

EDIT: This PC has a proprietary PSU and MOBO and future upgrades will be difficult if not impossible. Please keep that in mind.

Looks pretty good. Anyone have any better suggestions around $400-$600 price?

Not terrible seeing how this has the really improved GPU. A reasonable PC for general usage and maybe a F2P game or two at low details, if not a smoking deal.

Probably, likely proprietary motherboard as well.

This will be good for most people looking for a basic 'internet' PC. It's not very upgradable but that likely doesn't matter to someone looking at this price point. The only thing holding me back is the size of the SSD. I'd be willing to pay a few bucks more if it came with 1TB.

This is not a good deal compared to the desktop PCs I've gotten in the past couple years (with the only difference being 11th gen i5 instead of 8th and 9th gen i5), but I'm in need of one like this and maybe with the supply shortages this is the best it gets for now?

I assume this has hdmi 1.4 and not hdmi 2.0? The specs would work for me but I need it to be able to drive a 4K monitor at 60hz which hdmi 1.4 can't do. I really don't need a computer with a graphics card just something with onboard graphics that'll do 4k at 60hz. Why is that combo so hard to find?

It definitely is a proprietary motherboard. The ports on the front come straight off the motherboard. Pretty much a disposable PC.

"The keyboard and mouse come included too!" Isn't that the standard 😂.
I'm going to grab some to update some core2duo and other older systems at some offices. This is a solid deal for the price
