It's still available for pick up, depending on your location / zip code.

This is cool tech for sure, but dang that's a lot of money. If you sold your current TV and added this nearly $400, you could be on your way to upgrading to a bigger/better OLED.

I bought this set up with the 65" light bar a few weeks ago. I *like* it so far. But man, the box was pretty glitchy to set up. Currently I have an Xbox one S and a PS5 plugged into the sync box, and every time I turn the Xbox on first (since ps5 has no hdmi in for cable box), the sync box wakes the ps5, so that's annoying.. but other than that the light bar is great, the color matching really adds to the experience, screen will occasionally black for a split second with color matching, I've just kind of lived with it so far. Lightbar is bright enough to light basically my entire small living room with the brightest white setting.

Was tempted but shame the box won't support 120Hz and also that 75" is not on sale as part of this deal Frown Nice deal for those that can make it work though

I used to get frustrated switching between inputs on the sync box too. I finally just turned off all auto switching and hooked it up to Alexa. I do all my input changing by voice now and it's a lot smoother.

I have this on my 75" living room TV and love it. Really adds to the emersion and shock & awe of big blockbuster/special effects heavy movies.

I'd like to get another for my 65" basement/man cave TV, but I'm not going to bite until they upgrade the synch box to support 120Hz and VRR for next gen consoles.

So great for movies, wait (IMO) if you're getting it for gaming.

Is the sync box necessary for the gradient light to work?

Has anyone compared this to the Govee immersion lights? I love my Govee lights but they're much less bright than my old Hue lightstrip.

No, but kinda yes. Without the sync box they will turn on, and you can control the brightness and color with the Hue app. But they won't synch with what's on the TV.

Without that feature, I don't see a point in buying these because there are much cheaper LED light strips out there that will work just as well if you don't need it to synch with the TV output.

I only need sync box. Can I buy both , return strip and keep sync for $183.99?

Ah, I forgot, it does not work with any apps installed on smart TV – the content has to come through an HDMI cable first. I run most of my apps - Netflix, HBO etc on my Sony OLED TV, so no go for me. Unless I can place Hue Sync Box between HDMI out from Sony TV to A/V receiver. Will it work? Or, if TV plugged to A/V receiver just place Sync box between receiver HDMI out and TV? But in this case will it limit TV to 60HZ refresh rate?
