Bought this last time it was around this price and have been a huge fan. In for another.

My current T8+ runs every morning to clean LVP flooring. It has cleaned 151276 sq ft, done 422 cleanings, and has run for 412 hours with very few issues.

The mopping features isn't great though, so recently I purchased the ozmo upgraded mopping attachment and I've been happy with its performance.
Did you pay the regular price on it(the ozmo attachment)? Been checking (rarely) to see if it ever goes on sale, but haven't seen one yet. $99 is too high for the marginal benefit I can see.

Got mine on for this price LY on a SD at BB. Not disappointed in it, don't write home about it. They've been messing with the software causing map issues for me lately too, as someone already pointed out. The brush system is AWFUL with long hair, gotta clean it out after 1 maybe 2 cycles.
It still saves me time overall.

I purchased the T8+ and the newly released Shark AI robovac with self empty bin.

Both worked perfectly fine but time to time and to be honest the only issue I had between both robovacs was that I had connectivity issues sometimes with the T8+

So I kept the Shark AI for several reasons...
- The connectivity issues with the T8+ as stated above
- Shark AI is newly released, the T8+ has been around over a year
- Shark mapped my 2400 square foot home a lot faster that the T8+
- Shark AI self empty bin is bagless so it will save $$ in the long run
- The shark was about $75 or $50 cheaper

I just posted details on the Shark AI on another thread its on sale right now for $375

how is this different from costco model?
AIVI model uses video and AI for obstacle avoidance. Both models have Lidar mapping.

Got the same t8+ deal this time last year. The robot was so cool at first, but gradually had little issues pile up. It went from taking a few tries to dock (was fine initially), which is minor, to outright stopping in the middle of a cleaning with 60% battery or not entering wide open rooms. The customer service is horrendous - they kept bullshitting me with canned troubleshooting responses they know you won't do for 6-9 months. I finally called them out on it and they reluctantly agreed to inspect it. Even that process was a PIA.

I was at the threshold of my warranty when I sent it so I doubt they'll do anything but say "it's fine" and send it back, or pretend they never got it. it's a good product in theory and early execution, but bad customer service, product issues, and questionable longevity at best. Lesson learned? Pay another $100-$150 and get a Roomba.

Edit: mopping doesn't doesnt look like it touches the floor nor does it do much, but the floors do feel a little cleaner after.

I got my Ozmo Pro mopping attachment on AliExpress, it took 3 weeks to get and came with Chinese instructions, but works just fine:

This is a great deal on this vacuum. I have this and neither the self-cleanout or mop functions work. if you have anyone with long hair in the house, don't get this. it uses two cleanout channels and, when it tries to vacuum itself out, long hairs and strands turn into a rope that blocks both sides. I have to manually clean it out every single time. It never cleans itself out. Also, if you're looking at this for the mopping capabilities, those too are useless - unless you consider a damp surface wipe "mopping". Even at it's wettest setting, the mop doesn't do much of anything. Drips or anything that isn't just dirt on the surface remain, even after multiple passes. I upgraded to the turbo mop too - and it doesn't help. In the end, I've wasted a ton of time and energy trying to get this to do the extras it's supposed to do to begin with. Try something else if you have long hair in the house - or just get a manual cleanout vacuum and save a bunch more. And forget the mop - seriously, forget the mopping functions, even with the upgrades. I hope this helps! Good Luck!

I have this and had to send it back once already in the year I've had it. It doesn't go up rugs very well, and tears up the edges of them. Doesn't empty very well, but I do have a German Shepard that sheds a lot which it most of the problem but still should empty better than it does.

Love my T8. Mopping is near useless even with the upgrade attachment. It doesn't need a separate cleaning from vacuuming as stated by a previous post but it simply doesn't have the mass to clean effectively. Obstacle avoidance works well except for items that are low to the floor like cords not plugged into the wall.

Mapping issue with splitting rooms is real but there is a work around. It will also get suck around toilets between the base and wall but easy enough to set a boundary around them

Dumper statio didn't work for me due to a Queensland dog hair issue. Simply too much of it that binds together with dust/dirt and will not clear out. I assume this would work if you didn't have a different issue.

Should I return and take this one?
How did you get it for 400? In considering that model too

Everyone with pets. Vacuum wars stated the same issue with auto emptying in their review.

What he did was vacuum more often so there would be less hair that would get stuck. Would that actually help?

With certain breeds it might. The Queensland sheds so much I could build another dog out of his hair after 1 month of pickup. The dumper pulls from the bin through a fairly small opening and in my case virtually nothing would come out. As long as we're running it weekly the bin is big enough that a mid run empty isn't necessary.

Looks like my whole post didn't go through as I did list the positives. Short version: cleaning tool with storage spot is great, picks up most of the dust, goes from hard surface to carpet well except one tall rug we have, once mapped boundaries/zones are easy to use, no mechanical issues (I do "maintence" more often that it recommends).

Basically none of robots are perfect and the flaws I have with this one are issues id have no matter what.

Yeah, not a big fan of the auto empty dock either. Knowing the kind of long human and pet hair that gets tangled with the robot, plus the mops getting dirty very quickly, I generally don't really feel it's a very good idea to just let the current gen of vacuum robot go rogue for a few weeks before maintaining it. I mean, unless you really don't care, then that's fine.

bought this same price last year. app shows it cleaned 128,824 sqft over 215 cleanings / 225hrs. we have tile floor with 3 rugs. one of the rugs have fringes and it sometimes gets stuck on it so had to setup a block for that rug. i don't use the mop as we prefer thorough manual mopping. other than that, everything works fine and would recommend it.

its still on original filter and main brush. app shows 24% life left on main brush and 7% on filter. side brushes expired but haven't replaced it yet since it seems to be working fine still. oem consumables are $48 on amazon. there are generic ones out there but some reviews complain of tangle errors from the main brush when running on carpet or rug. i bought a set of replacement bags for the empty station from aliexpress.
