Got a link or brand?
It's Costco's own brand, Kirkland Signature. They also have their Nature's Domain line which is also highly rated and offers "premium" proteins such as salmon, but it's a little bit more expensive per pound. I haven't gotten Nature's Domain for some time, but I want to say it's closer to $30 for a 35 pound bag in-store. I will say that I do buy their canned food as well (either Kickland Signature or Nature's Domain) and use it as a mixer/topper with the kibble. I have a stubborn dog that won't eat straight kibble. Mixing in Costco's wet food does the trick with him. I mix in about 1/3 of a can for every two cups of food and one package will last about the same as the bag of 40lbs of food that way.

Buy it in-store. It's never over $30 for me. Usually closer to $25. I wish I could order it online because that's often the only thing I ever need from there regularly, but the online pricing is just too high.
Where do you live? I've never seen it that cheap in Cali.

Texas, just double checked my receipts and it's been $28.99 the last few times I've bought it for the Chicken & Rice. So I suppose closer to $30 recently, I should say. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lamb is a few bucks more.

OK, that makes sense as most things tend to be more expensive here. I can't wait to move to a red state, some of the regional deals on here are out of this world to me.

Grain free. No thanks. I prefer to not give my dog heart disease.

Would love a link. On their site I only see those prices for small breed or maybe puppy. Everything else is $45-50 for 35-40 lbs.
In store is cheaper like like less the $1 a pound for the natures domain. The kirkland brand is like 60 cents a pound and it's still great food.
