Great game. You'll know real fast if you like this style of game, and chances are if you like it, you'll love it because it has defined a genre. Good way to sense if you'd like its pricier, deeper successor
Does Civ Rev 2 run well on Android? Is it worth playing?
Can't speak to it running on Android, but runs fine on iOS without update in years.
I have a lot of hours. It looks similar to civ rev released for ps3/360. Plays nearly the same as civ rev1 for mobile except the animations and graphics. If you played any civ1 and and liked it you'll like this.
If you're into the traditional civ games most don't like this.
I've never experienced bugs running civ rev 2 on android. I'm surprised as I don't think it's been updated in ages. But I've run it on as late as android 11 on a pixel 3a xl without a hiccup. Might be some manufacturer specific android flavor or some specific hardware giving it trouble.
Great game, btw. I'd instabuy a 3rd civ rev for a mint, even better if they'd do a Beyond Earth Revolutions, that'd be cool. Though at this point, I'd probably rather buy another on a more stable platform. civrev hasn't broken for me yet, but I've seen lots of old games stop working on android while I can still play dos/windows games from decades ago with relative ease.

I can tell you in Android it's buggy, this is a rip off. It's worthless if it doesn't run right.
iOS [apple.com] $4.99 $1.99
Android [google.com] $4.99 $1.99

Thanks for sharing OP, but has anyone else noticed how generally awful iOS game "sales" have been since Apple Arcade became a thing?

And generally I'll tolerate a lot at a $2 price point....
