I have a few and one has been abused enough to where I may need to replace it soon. But these are awesome because it makes sure that "those people" who want to use lights the old fashioned way don't mess up your automations.

Does this only work with hue lights specifically? Like i have a hue bridge with hue lights but was planning on getting some cheaper smart bulbs to pair with the bridge. Would this work?

With this can you turn off the lights completely or we can just dim them to the lowest setting ? Do the bulbs actually turn completely off at lowest setting?

This attaches directly onto your light switch, permanently locking it in on the position. When pressed, it will toggle on/off your chosen scene (off will output no light. You can also spin the dial to adjust the brightness of your chosen setting, even spinning up from off, up to your desired brightness level. (Note, I believe this only works with Philips Hue bulbs attached to a Hue hub)

My house is already full of the Philips branded dimmer with the buttons and generic switch covers. Shame because this definitely looks more elegant and my mom might not have to ask me how to turn on the lights every time she's over.

Thanks got 5. These are pricey but the best way to kill 2 birds with one stone. You cover the switch that prevents people from unknowingly cutting power to the smart bulb and it also is a switch.

I've got a wall sconce with a Hue bulb on it that turns on and off by a pull string that no longer works. Is it possible to mount this without a light switch? I currently just toggle it on and off with the Hue app. Eventually we'll replace the sconce, but wondering if this might work until then, so I don't have to fuss with the app.

You can buy a mount for it that goes in a standard wall outlet, if you don't have one of those nearby you can buy the hue dimmer Switch v2 that looks somewhat like a normal switch, but it can be put anywhere with the double sided tape it has on the back.
