Some people prefer the Nest ecosystem.
1. Because you use Google home products instead of ring ( like me) primarily because ring doorbell is shit and nest doorbell has near instant detection and video ( the fastest on the market )
2. Google has much better ai detection and recognition.

For me it makes sense to get this one since I have the Nest doorbell and a few other Google Nest devices. I think that would be the only real benefit. Not sure if there's a difference in features or video quality

Nest always is recording and has better video recording (even though both are 1080p).
Basically when the power is turned off (all my outdoor lights are on a central sunset/sunrise timer), the camera works like one of their new battery powered cameras so it will record activity and alert if anything is detected. The feed isn't live during this time unless you select it to view. When power is turned back on, the camera provides a constant video feed and the lights will then connect to wifi and be accessible.
