Hey,

So quick tip that I was recently turned on to, I noticed the browness of my 8 year old vitamix container and dropped a dozen denture tablets in it, let it sit for 10 minutes, and finally went at it with a toothbrush. And voila it was clear and not discolored anymore. Just sayin'
If you are grinding something hard like grain then it's going to ruin the plastic container.
Love this container. Looks great. Only complaint is seeing if the ingredients are blending correctly. Mine is under a cabinet and difficult to see into the lid.

sorry, I meant 'oof' in general.

my question re: being in a well enough financial position to consider purchasing something like this still stands.

I don't understand why anyone would want this? Does it do anything that the plastic containers don't?

Because the plastic ones really discolor over time no matter how good you clean them, and stainless just looks nice.

I've had my plastic container for 3 years. I'm horrible about cleaning it right away. It has zero stains.
