I don't have a comprehensive answer to this, but I am looking to replace my Orbi, mostly because I can't stand a) the Netgear interface, b) subscription model for support, and c) the very difficult to use "circle by Disney" nonsense.

This set at the regular price is already the best deal for a tri-band wifi 6 mesh setup. The $70 off makes this a steal.

Yup, same here. First got the orbi last year, then realizing the circle was so limited w/o subscription, returned for the deco m9. The TP link controls offer a daily time limit per user which can include multiple devices, but unfortunately only a single on/off bedtime period per day. But circle I think had no daily time limits w/o subscription, only a single timer, if I remember. Yeah I'm going to spend $60/yr for less controls than I had w/ my old moto modem router (as many events as I could ever use- I had like 35 on off times for different devices)

Deco x60 for $40 less at Costco claims same 7000 sqft coverage- though max 3000 vs 3600 speed. But I like the shorter form factor and the all white vs b/w 2tone of this model

Any privacy concerns with TP-Link? I know they require a TP-Link cloud account to setup and there's various verbiage about collecting data in their privacy policy. Then again Netgear is probably doing the same thing.

Thinking about returning my Orbi for this and saving $90

You can do either. But I would highly recommend finding a way of running a Cat6 cable between them. Wired is always more reliable, reduces latency and leaves the wireless bands open for actual traffic. I have 6 Deco devices running through a gigabit switch, which covers my entire house, detached garage, workshop and most of my yard. Each pod connects back to the switch, so each have a full gigabit to work with

I have the TP-Link Deco X60 and would recommend that highly, that said I would encourage you to give the Eero 6 a shot, if it works well for you just stick with it.

I am happy with the Deco X60, you may end up being happy with the Eero, if not just return it and test this one out. I know it is annoying, but each home/use case is different.

Turn off fast roaming if it is enabled and see if that fixes it. That's about the only issue I've had with devices connecting to these.

it's already in disabled mode. Reading through the forums, if Google Home have issue connecting to WiFi6. Thanks for your inputs.

My coverage, speeds and stability have been very good. however their biggest weak point is their software and lack of options and control. The web interface has even less options than the app. You can't even set static IPs outside of the DHCP range. No channel steering for WiFi clients. Etc.
