Bit of advice to possibly save you some money! My local library has 161 magazines they have subscriptions for. Many of the exact same ones here for sale. They let you check out the digital version for FREE! Magazines that I enjoy are National Geographic, Popular Science, Popular Mechanics, Louisiana Cookin, and more. I would have to pay a hundred dollars or more a year for all the magazines I enjoy reading but with my FREE library card, I can check out the latest editions FREE each month. NO MORE SUBSCRIPTIONS! You can read them on your Kindle, your tablet, your phone or PC. To add even more value to a FREE library card, the library has thousands of FREE audio books you can check out or download to your device. All the latest stuff, these are not just older ones. They stay pretty up to date with the latest releases.

When is the last time you visited your local library? Save yourself a few bucks and go get this stuff for free.(

Bummer no Kiplinger's Personal Finance. I don't think they've been discounted here in a few years. Anyone know how to get that one cheap? Local library has The Economist but not Kiplinger's.

Thanks for this. I was thinking the same thing. Looking at the "sale" list, I read so many of these for free with the Libby app.

. I do not feel the editors have a grasp of what the average consumer is interested in. And the price range of products the average consumer can afford.

I subscribed for a few years then realized they have never covered a product I actually bought. Might be useful if I move and decide to buy everything new. Maybe.

I know some people prefer print. It is also much easier to skim and browse on paper.

The big problem with subscribing on a device is proprietary readers and large files sizes. If you like to hold onto say, magazines with recipes, they soon take up a ton of space on your reader.
