I loved that I could connect to multiple devices and if I wanted to switch, it was easy to just press of a button. The software was ok. I didn't use it, but I tried out the continuous mouse movement across different devices and it worked. It allowed me to re-map some of the buttons. Battery life was great. I never timed it, but it was weeks before I had to recharge it and charging time was quick.
I've bought 2 of these. One lasted a little over a year before it started double clicking and I continued using it for another half year or so before it got annoying. My second one lasted about 7 months before it started double clicking and I lived with it for another half year too. Logitech mice tend to use cheap switches that eventually start double clicking. I guess you could replace them if you had the tools and skills to do so, but I didn't. I opened one up and the switches are soldered on.
So while this may be a great price on this mouse, be wary that it might not last you more than a year.
No worries, Logitech makes keeping track of all this stuff as confusing as possible. I only use it with BT (3 connections) but it also has the unifying USB dongle (1 connection).
Battery life is ridiculously good.
As for durability, I ordered one as a replacement for my work one which has been dropped on concrete a handful of times recently but still works just fine... just rattles now lol.
The scroll wheel is my only annoyance and its minor. For the hyper scroll (which can be clicked on and off by pushing the wheel in), it uses a weight on the wheel so it keeps spinning via momentum. with it "engaged" and slow scrolling, if you remove your finger, the weight falls back to the bottom and drags the wheel back to a resting position which sometimes makes you inadvertently scroll up or down a few lines. It's not a major gripe because it can be fixed by disengaging the hyper scroll by clicking the wheel but still slightly annoying if you aren't thinking about it.
Compact with slight ergonomics.
Basically same size as the Logitech 3xx series that go on sale for $10
edit
ergonomics make it pretty much roght hand only. peft handed use would probably be tedious because the side buttons
I bought the MX Anywhere 3 and it was way too small and I have average sized hands. The worst part is how flat the mouse is so you get no "hump" for your palm to rest on - it's more of a finger-mouse rather than a palm-mouse.
The M720 is way more comfortable. Although it lacks the nice sensor on this MX so don't expect to use it on your sofa/rough surface table without some jittering. It's a trade off but Id rather have a more comfy mouse on the go.

You mean tape over the moving switch with resting area or slide a small piece between the gap ?
