I have an older set (>10 years old) and a newer set (~5 years old). The older set is perfect. Awesome quality. The newer set is junk. Jaws don't line up etc. These are different so hopefully they found a different manufacturer.

I have two pair of the side cutters and have cut 100s of zip ties without issues. Not sure if that means much. Easy enough to exchange at lowes if they break.
