I bought the 3 piece combo with the crate the last time it went on sale and have never had a use for it. It's just taking up space. It's the SD effect.

That's how northern has operated for years unfortunately. So you have to do the online ship-to-store pick-up orders to save money. The nature of slick deals with northern I guess.

Ridgid is junk if you actually transport them around a lot. I have the ridgid at work and hate them with a passion. The side latch system unhooks randomly and wears out so when I'm wheeling across a yard or unloading my truck they will disconnect and fall. Usually hitting a shin. Have broke several of their storage boxes due to this.

I grabbed one today at HD. Their $229 promo is over and it's back up to the $309 price, but I got them to price match at $199 by adding the product to my cart on the Northern Tools website, adding the coupon and selecting the free "Ship to store" option . They gave me absolutely no hassle. I'm in Austin, TX.
