The VG27AQL1A is also available for only $10 more on the same Amazon page (select the 170 hz with Height Adjustable Stand option.) Seems like an even better deal, it's the newer version, comes with the height adjustable stand which easily accounts for the $10, and has other improvements.

From comparing the newer VG27AQL1A to the older VG27AQ, the main improvements on the newer model seem to be better color accuracy (80% vs 90%), 170hz vs 165hz, added USB3 connection, better peak brightness in HDR, height adjustable stand. Only downside seems to be it is listed as "in stock soon" so it might be a couple weeks before it ships. The better color accuracy on the VG27AQL1A seems to be the biggest difference to note.

I'm all ears for any opinions though.

P.S. Be careful not to select the "165 hz with height adjustable stand" option. It might seem like an upgrade since it's the same price as the other 165hz option, but that has the cheaper, non-IPS panel model (much worse colors.)

Don't know why this deal, didn't get the recognition. Much better monitor than the others out there in the price range <$300.

I already bought the 35" LG ultrawide costco deal, but I was looking at this monitor as well as the similar monitor from gigabyte before that somewhat hoping they would go on sale until I saw the costco deal. Should I return the costco LG ultrawide for this or just stick with the 35" LG? I haven't gotten it in the mail yet, I'll be using a strix 3070 laptop gpu so I doubt id be able to get higher than 100fps/100hz in most newer games anyway at this resolution, only thing that makes me want this slightly more is the IPS/better HDR. I use a kinda cheap curved acer 32" 1080p monitor now, kinda like the size.

Any input would be appreciated. heart

This monitor is great. Got one from Amazon warehouse deal few months back for like $240 out the door, like new condition. This and LG tends to be available more often than not during warehouse discount deals, just fyi.

Pretty good prices on some of these.

I already ordered the Dell S2721DGF a few days ago which still hasnt shipped yet, but I dont know which is the better deal. Paid $330 before tax on that.

The Asus VG27aq, Dell S2721DGF or Gigabyte model?

I ordered the VG27AQ from Amazon on this deal...has anyone who ordered one actually receive it? My order status was supposed to be delivered two days ago, but now it just says "running late" and the tracking info is non-existent (shipped through Amazon tracking).
