8 1/4"… isn't that a bit small? I have the 10" version that I bought for roughly the same price. Works great and I needed the larger blade. I used it to cut to size some thick foam insulation when making attic access doors… even then, I had to flip the insulation over to cut all the way through. An 8 1/4" blade wouldn't have suffice.

Bought one last time they dipped in price. Great saw, just wish I had bought one years ago.

Bought this saw alone for $254. Should I return and buy this instead? Is the stand worth $135? I just use it occasionally during the weekends.

DeWalt has a basic stand that is often bundled with that saw at around $299.
But if you have to buy it separately, at $70 it's a scam. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../300226904

I heard it's better to get 10" table saw than 8". 10" More usable, and another BIGGY: Availability of 8" blades as limited, where availability of 10" blades is vast. So 10" has huge selection and variety. And easier to get good blades cheaper with 10".
