I am NOT against people purchasing the higher quality Pure, I'm just here to state that simulated UPS is better bang for the buck in terms of using it as PC UPS.
Not necessarily better, but clearly different. However, since simulated sine wave occupies the entire bottom end of the market (from small power strip style units to ones like this CyberPower), there is a correlation that some buyers might make between more premium UPSes and the availability of pure sine wave. Will you find pure sine wave in a cheapo UPS? Basically never. Is a pure sine wave necessarily better than an otherwise equivalent simulated sine wave UPS? No, but typically pure sine wave models exist in a price and quality tier just above "average".
Compatibility issues with simulated sine wave are indeed far from a widespread issue, though a careful test might be recommended after giving the UPS a day or two to charge up. There are some risks to this test, but if you get 5-10 minutes of solid run-time you might expect the same in future real-world scenarios. I'll put a separate comment about my own recommendations regarding this issue.
One warning I'd add for an OLED TV is to check the peak power draw rating. I've seen OLED TVs rated for over 600W. This UPS is rated for a peak draw of 810W, and while an OLED would rarely reach peak draw often or for very long (unless you just stare at full brightness white screens all day?) you do want to ensure you have a decent overhead between your TV's potential peak draw and your UPS' peak load capacity. This is in part because you might need more than a couple of minutes to actually shut things down gracefully in the case of a power outage (and near peak load retail UPS times are indeed measured in minutes).
The specifications sheets for the two models suggest that the CP1350AVRLCD has denser batteries (9Ah vs 7Ah), giving it twice the runtime at peak load (and 50% more run time at half load). Of course, you could make this change yourself the next time you rotate those batteries out!
I do IT support for a number of fast food locations and we use almost exclusively CyberPower UPSs. Each location might have 8+ and they do what they're supposed to.

Does anyone know what the functional difference is between this & the Intelligent LCD series version - CP1350AVRLCD? I'm trying to compare the two & other than a more accessible Mute button (vs menu option) on the CP1350AVRLCD model, which also lacks the USB A & USB-C ports, the model featured on this deal seems to be the better bargain even at regular price.
Everything else seems the same to me, otherwise. Wanted to see if I'm missing anything else here.

can you pls elaborate what you mean by "that gets a hotspot"? Not working, not stay on, or what?
A small area on the unit (it's a three-brightness level light, larger than a normal night light, that goes up to 5W) gets quite hot when running on this UPS. But it's not that way when on utility power.

It used to be $79 after discount. When I checked the price in store last week, it was still $99. I got three of this over the years. The last one was the last time they had it at $79. This model changed slightly in recent years. My first one should be from at least 6 years ago. We have been through at least 3 black out that drained the battery completely. It just started to have some issues that it may turn off by itself once a while. I have been waiting for this deal to come back but a little bit disappointed with the higher price.

You definitely will more commonly find simulated sine wave UPS at better price points relative to pure sine wave. However, my general advice on all power products is to try and match the load to the device as best you can. This includes considerations like peak wattage and run-time needs, but should also distinguish between simulated sine wave friendly loads (like wall warts for your routers and switches) vs. those that might have to work harder to compensate for the unique characteristics of a simulated sine wave.
I've linked above to an article from Tripp Lite and also attached a reference document from Cyber Power. None of that diminishes the general notes of this thread, which is that most PC power supplies are fine. However, what's missing there is the understanding as to why PC power supplies seem to be fine despite the warning. The fact is that those PC power supplies are working hard (harder than they would be on a pure sine wave supply) to maintain continuous operation. The manufacturers suggest that devices would simply power off, but consider that your PC power supply has other specifications (such as a hold up time, in which it is designed to operate through a very brief - as in milliseconds - loss of power). Those components are coming into play in most modern power supplies when relying upon simulated sine wave power, and the stress of continuous operation might prove out how well the designers of your power supply did their jobs.
For most users, a simple test like the one I suggested above could, in the best case, go one of two ways: the system keeps running or the system powers off immediately. However, there's always a third case in that the power supply fails because some component capable of intermittent operation wasn't happy being tasked with continuous operation. I don't think that should really warn anyone away from what is a solid product from CyberPower, but really should just be a piece of the evaluation anyone should use when approaching this deal.
I have 3 of the old design (2 front USB A ports) that are still going strong (two are connected to PCs, one to an entertainment set up). I believe I paid $79 each. As stated above, Costco's price on this unit is great when it goes on sale occasionally. Haven't had an instance long enough to drain their batteries yet, but they've been great for short black outs.
Good deal and my hats off to cyberpower. The batteries on my backup failed one week before the end of warranty and they promptly replaced them with no hassle. I would definitely buy from them again.
How does this work with led lights, the one I bought makes them flicker like crazy
Most LED lights designed for AC operation use an incredibly simple circuit to regulate power known as a capacitive dropper. There's surely a deep internet rabbit hole for understanding this circuit (I'm a HACKADAY fan[hackaday.com], myself), but the TLDR is that the design is cheap, simple, and generally reliable... but also potentially awful on the wrong simulated sine wave.
I was mad since my 1500va was failing, but it just needed new batteries and I realized I bought it back in 2014 so I'm not mad anymore.

I can confirm that this simulated sine wave UPS doesn't work on my 10 year old Antec 650W PSU. It does work on my Seasonic 750W I got a year ago. I had to return it because I want to use it with my Antec.
