Good deals. I'm in for 7.

Also, everyone keeps mentioning that you either need a cable or virtual desktop to play wirelessly from a PC to the Quest 2. But, don't forget, Oculus Air works great natively without having to download additional software to the headset. Plus, it's free and works really well. You just need to enable it on the headset. Lots of resources on YouTube to get you going on how to do this.

Good luck and enjoy!

Virtual Desktop "should" also work as well to keep it wireless if you have really good WiFi at your location. Wireless AC is the minimum you will need but AX works better.

So your computer does the heavy processing? I ask because I have a computer but it doesn't have a graphics card so I don't think this would work for me with an Oculus Quest 2... Correct?

Do all of the games require a PC link? Can any be loaded direct on the Quest 2?

Any game that you cannot download from the Oculus store for the Quest or Quest 2, needs to be connected via the link cable or over air play (wireless).

Correct, a 4gb Gtx 1650 would be a safe bet to run a quest 2, but nothing lower.

I can vouch for Ultrawings. Fun little flight sim. Take jobs to earn money and buy better planes.
I owned it on Steam, but ended up also buying it from the Oculus store so I could play it without being tied to the PC.
Torn is cool and probably groundhogs day

For this to work well, you need a wifi 6 router and the PC in question to be hooked to the router via Ethernet. Steam works like butter with Virtual Desktop

If you enjoyed the Groundhog Day movie the VR game will probably be disappointing for you. Fun to stand in the virtual Square from the movie.

Been wondering about this. I'm not sure if people keep suggesting virtual desktop because it is better or because they just don't know. I got a Quest 2 yesterday and Air Link was free and very simple to set up. It could be better but was functional even though my PC isn't wired to the network (yet).

Also the game was pretty buggy, some of the mini games I could not pass (dancing, graffiti). Also unable to recenter the game play space so it would always get offset from the Steam VR.

I used the Airlink before trying the Virtual Desktop. Once having the Virtual Desktop it's impossible to go back. You can keep doing 360 turns without worrying the cable gets stuck. And you can play in a big room without worry about staying close to the PC. I ended up buying an AX router to make it better

Not sure which headset you have but for Oculus 2 airlink can stream through WiFi. You don't need a wire. Personally I like the UI in virtual desktop better.
