Yes, from the specs, Samsung is better (i7 vs i5, wifi 6e vs 6). Dell just does design and quality better. Audio on the XPS will be better, screen wobble will be less, keyboard and touchpad will feel better.

Don't forget AMEX $120 off $599. Makes it sweeter.

I forgot - touchscreen is of zero-worth to the apple camp.

Battery life for either will get you through that workday.

If you are using it as a work device, you recharge at the end of the day as a matter of course. Or, you can be that person looking to plug-in in class or at work in the middle of something. It's like a soldier clearing out a room and not changing to a new magazine but going on a partial mag.

Ordered Sunday, got my $200 off $800 rebate from Amex today. Was concerned at first as I never got the "Congrats you used your Amex offer" email that is usually sent when an Amex offer is triggered.

My first impressions of the XPS 9301 2-in-1 are very positive. Performance is snappy, the display is good, build quality is superb, and the keyboard isn't as bad as I feared. The vapor chamber seems to be effective in cooling this laptop - it runs cooler and quieter than any other Intel laptop I can recall using. For <$600 before tax (after Amex offer and cash back), I really have no complaints.

No need to go through a special website, if you make a payment through Dell USA website and you have added the offer to your card through your membership rewards account with Amex, the offer to get automatically.

If by "need to go through Amex site" you mean the terms and conditions telling you to use dell.com/amex, you don't have to do that to get the Amex Offer credit. You can go to the regular site via a cash back portal, AND still get the Amex Offer credit. I've done it many times over the past several years.
