To be fair, a HDMI 2.0 would support QHD @ 120HZ.

I have it too and love it. I have a QHD laptop that is 165hz so this matches up with it perfectly. I've had it for 6 months now.

This doesn't even offer 4k resolution, so 2.1 is unnecessary since it's nowhere near 8k

So I have this monitor since last year I think the deal was 329 back then. Anyway we play a limited amount of games on it at 1440 like fortnight and a few others with a rtx2060 It's beautiful and don't regret it one bit. Use it as a daily work monitor son plays games on it. Pretty good for multifunction.

Been looking for 2 ultra wide curved ~32" monitors for work from home. Preferable around $250 or less for each. Any recommendations based on current sales?

Dumb question, does the hdmi 2.0 for this monitor support 144hz? Or do I need to use display port?

Do not recommend this monitor due to backlight flicker below 90 Hz with VRR, and lack of proper support from dell due to discontinuing the monitor. I bought and returned mine after a few months and talking with dell engineers.

2.1 is required for full RGB 1440p165 with HDR. Otherwise it would use chrome subsampling.

According to this:

https://www.rtings.com/monitor/re...l/s3220dgf

When connected over HDMI, the monitor defaults to 144Hz and instead offers an overclock to 165Hz.
