Galaxy Book Go | Windows 11 Home | 14.0" | Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 7c Gen 2 | 4GB | 128GB | Wifi | Silver, regular price $349.99

MODEL NUMBER: NP340XLA-KA4US

Samsung has the Galaxy Book Go on sale with a trade in device. You also get $100 off as an instant rebate. Trade in one of the devices listed on their website, and get up to $190 instant credit. Sign in with an EDU email account and get an additional discount. Expected delivery is Dec. 7, 2021.

I just purchased the base model Galaxy Book Go. I'll trade in an old Dell Inspiron that runs Windows XP and get $100 credit for it. Your final price will vary depending on what device you trade in and how much credit Samsung will give you for it.

I was looking for a basic laptop for my husband, who will only use it for web browsing. He has arthritis in his hands and can't use a tablet. I wanted a Windows based system rather than a Chromebook. This fit the bill. The 4GB ram is good enough for his needs.

I got a $100 instant rebate plus $100 for my Dell Inspiron. That brought the cost down to $150. I also used an EDU account and had some Samsung promo credits which brought the cost down further. Depending on the device you trade in, you can get a decent deal on this.

This is a very basic laptop, and it does have limitations, but sometimes that's all some folks need.

Looks like you save $60 by choosing the windows 10 model. Shame that this laptop isn't lighter. Surprised that the laptop weighs over 3 lbs yet has no moving parts...guessing the 14" screen is what adds the weight. Anyway, 4gb of ram is a deal breaker for me. If it were on a Chromebook that might be a different story but that's pretty much unacceptable for a windows box

Maybe there is a right trade-in to make this deal hot, but it would be a rare one. Most of the trade-ins don't get you down that low. I can trade my i7/8/256/dGPU SP3 in and pay $100 to "upgrade" to this?

I don't see why this is better than most Chromebooks with MediaTek CPUs from Best Buy [bestbuy.com]. The non-touch version is $20 cheaper if you don't care. Assuming you don't have a trade-in, we are talking about $250. It's running the ARM version of Windows, which means it's limited with program support and it's only 4GB and it's Windows we are talking about. IDK, correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think it's of much value unless you have an old-a$$ laptop that you can't really use.

In my case, a 9 yo Acer Aspire i3 that has a loud fan and runs Win10 after a 5 minute start up, giving me $75, is worth the upgrade/trade in.

This really seems like a terrible deal. Sorry.
