The Walmart MSI laptop for $200less is a better deal
Mine has 16gb RAM and an i7 for around $800. This doesn't seem like too great of a deal. The Zip discount is what makes this interesting I guess.
That being said, I like the laptop. It doesn't have a bunch of racing stripes or RGB so I can use it for work and not look crazy. I keep the keyboard back light on a dark blue although it does boot up rainbow before loading my settings. I keep it in a laptop bag with chargers and stuff and it doesn't seem to scratch too easily. Only complaint might be battery life isn't awesome but it's a cheap gaming laptop. I like that it has 2 empty SSD slots for easy upgrades. 256gb fills up fast. Only cons might be speakers are on the bottom so audio is average at best. If it's in your laptop on a blanket or something you hear nothing. Also, fans can get loud during gaming but since the speakers suck you likely have headphones in anyway. Used it for several zoom calls. The 1650 isn't super beefy but it's pretty average according to Steam hardware survey so it'll work for most things. Just don't expect 4k 144hz.
I picked up the Ryzen 4800, RTX 2060, 120Hz panel for $729 on BF.
