A quick chat with newegg customer support informed me that they ship out codes and keys once they have inventory (which basically translates to release date). So if you want those bonus codes now you'll likely want to try square enix's store directly

Hopefully this was just a default reply from an employee who doesn't know better because if so, this isn't as good of a deal as it could have been. People who preorder and get those codes get early access to the expansion 4 days before the release date. Guess it comes down to if you'd rather save the $8-9 and wait while everyone else is playing.

i stopped playing for a few years but picked it back up recently and just finished Stormblood so this is perfect timing as it comes with Shadowbringers as well
