If you don't need it now, they clear this out close to Christmas day for a buck in store. I got a bunch last year each for $1.
Unfortunately if one LED fails, all of them will stop working just FYI
There's another FP deal about Sylvania lights for 7.98 that stay lit even if several fail or completely taken out.

Besides, having used GE for years, I can tell that these lights don't more than a year or two. One or more bulbs will fail rendering the whole string unusable (you'll use up the spares pretty quickly).

These are 120V/60HZ/0.054Amps and rated around 6.5 Watts. Maximum strings lights can be attached equivalent to 216 watts. The fuse is 3A/125V

These lights are garbage. I bought a lot of them three years ago, first Xmas they all worked fine, then the next Christmas every single strand half of the lights were out. I had some boxes left over and bought a few more the following Xmas and the same thing happened. Every single strand I used last year now has half the lights out. That is 100% failure on the maybe 20 to 30 boxes I bought. Replaced them with the brand from Home Depot and so far those strands work a year later.

The clear ones have a rough flicker on them. I'm taking them back.

My Lowe's had an additional 25% off these lights, making them $4.49. Really good deal and they work well.

They'll work this year, but that's about it. Next year when you get them out only part of the strand will work. These are terrible lights

We bought these last year as well for our tree, and they're still working fine. Sorry you had bad luck.

Buy one extra set and use that as a donor. All you need is a multimeter to find the one that has the issue. It takes under 5 minutes to find it.
Rookie here. Am I multimetering the suspicious bulb or the hole that I pulled him out of? Bulb I'm guessing, but then what would I set my multimeter too. Trying to learn basic electrical and just got my multimeter working.

It's simple fix, just connect the 2 wires from the failed LED
Do you mean cut off the failed LED then reconnect the wires? Thanks for the tip just want to make sure how to do it right in case I ever have to do it.

Are any of these lights any good? Maybe I need to stick with Philips like I do for light bulbs.

Thought Sylvania would be good but I had one of those lose a section of lights after one season.

GE LED bulbs are junk in my experience, so I'm not surprised if these are junk too.

that's correct - remove the failed LED bulb and connect those 2 wires and tape ( weather proof one)
