Costco has the same model: 1320355 for $79.99 on their website.
How do I get around the $8.98 shipping fee? Buy 3, return 2?

I did a lot of research on humidifiers. Go with evaporative humidifier or air washers instead. Ultrasonic humidifiers need distilled water to prevent white dust and pain to clean.

Any rec? At this point, i dont carr about price but care about keeping it clean and longevity. All these homedics stuff so hard to clean and they break after 1 season.

This one or Levoit smart coolmist humidifier?

I bought Levoit smart that works with alexa for the same price from Target. Can anyone tell whether Homedics is better or Levoit?

I wouldn't recommend this either. The middle tube is hard to clean and is the part that gets dirty. I had to file off the thing blocking the middle tube for easier cleaning.

Was about to post the same thing. Many of these ultrasonics have shit designs where they become mold repositories on the inside because there is no way to clean them. I suspect this is done on purpose to force another purchase after your unit gets too dirty. Or their product designers are morons. I've been able to clean mine, but it's at least an hour long ordeal each time because 20-25 screws have to come out all over the place and internal boards have to be disconnected and then reconnected when reassembling. So, for anyone looking to buy an ultrasonic unit, either avoid completely or make sure that the unit is FULLY cleanable without needing a screwdriver and a degree in electrical engineering.

I had this unit before will never buy again. The nozzle is built into the body of the unit and is impossible to clean unless you tear it apart. Save yourself the trouble and do not buy this.

You may have a different design if you are able to somehow clean it with a waterpik.
The vapor channel in these Homedics units is not removable. It goes through the inside of the product and there is no way you'd be able to access it with a waterpik. It's too long and the angles won't let you get a waterpik nozzle in there properly.
