Seriously, what did you expect, it was a one day sale and it sold out. It happens. I have missed out on countless deals here by being late to the game. Not a big deal. Get over yourselves and move onto the next deal instead of acting immature by complaining or being butt hurt because they won't bend over backwards for you.
Which is the best of the free phones?
Not only will they be locked to T-Mobile, but don't be surprised by the fact that budget phones like these slice and dice which bands they support based upon the operator which sold them. In other words, this is not the same phone as similarly named model from Verizon, and would have different capacity to support functionality on networks outside of T-Mobile (they're all probably 100% fine enough for AT&T).

Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

Good luck!

Which phone are you trying to order? I am on a 55+ plan and got the LG VELVET.
Yes, that the one I tried to order but get the "must change plans" on both desktop and phone app.

Tried the app and same results. Since my plan is no longer offered it wants me to add a new line which means the $70/month Magenta 55+.
That's weird. Mine is also a very old grandfathered plan. What I did was search for LG Velvet in the app and click on the device icon it opens up a page that shows "upgrade" and right below that is the "add a line" button. And then just proceeded through the check out process.

In the web browser it just shows me "add a line."

I have but doesn't work either way. Unless I Add a line. Which I do not need. It advised me that $20 monthly will be for the line and that way it also takes away the shipping charge?
I have one of those grandfathered plan too so I didn't upgrade my plan. You should be able to "upgrade your line" not the plan, where you can add the phone, and then before you confirm the order, you should see a redlined box says your $400 promotional credit will be pplied as follows:

Recurring bill credit $400.00, $16.67 off your bill for 24 months.

I don't think it matters what device or browser you use. I was able to do all my orders from my same Desktop browser, though each order was in it's own tab.

Choose Upgrade a Line. The next screen asks you to choose which Line/Device is eligible to be upgraded. Once you pick the Line/Device in your account that is eligible for an upgrade, it'll take you to a screen talking about trade in value. The important part here is to either choose Skip Trade In, or choose Trade In Another Device and on the next screen click the Skip Trade In (small text link). Then it should go to the first step of finalizing your order and show you the full $400 promotional credit for LG Velvet device.
yeah, that annoyed me.. one page had "skip" at the very top, the next at the very bottom.

I didn't see the mention of promo credits on any page from start to finish. Is that normal for this?

If my lines participated the OnePlus deal before and still have monthly payment on that phone, am I still qualified on buying these phones?

LOL, yeah, purposefully designed that way to get people to buy protection plans and accessories.

You should still be qualified. I had participated in the other promotions as well, and some other people here did too and qualified.

I did. We had been discussing this issue earlier in the thread. It'll be first time for me to try having more than one live EIP on any single line on my account. But in for 3. Others have said in this thread they've had no issues at all doing multiple EIPs on same line of multi-line account.

It should have mentioned the $400 promotion with a pink background while you were checking out on the page where it calculates the costs. It should have also mentioned the credits for the next x24 months on the bottom half of the page.

Yep, both of my line that have double EIP is exactly that. Now if I can get that velvet lol. App not working either.
Are the doubles (or even the ones you've used tonight/this morning) all free phones like the A32, or does this also include phones with some nominal payment every month?

Good luck!
