Seriously, what did you expect, it was a one day sale and it sold out. It happens. I have missed out on countless deals here by being late to the game. Not a big deal. Get over yourselves and move onto the next deal instead of acting immature by complaining or being butt hurt because they won't bend over backwards for you.

Not only will they be locked to T-Mobile, but don't be surprised by the fact that budget phones like these slice and dice which bands they support based upon the operator which sold them. In other words, this is not the same phone as similarly named model from Verizon, and would have different capacity to support functionality on networks outside of T-Mobile (they're all probably 100% fine enough for AT&T).

Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

yeah, that's requirement#1: on monthly payment, idea is you stay for 24 month. Kinda of like the old free phone with contract plans back in the days.

I don't think it will allows anything been try different way, browser and forms of payment. Now the white/pink is out of stock. Everyone here stated they been adding and getting new devices. But no one shows proof of confirmation of taxes and shipping payment???

You can pay for this free device later out of pocket to close out the EIP and then device credits will move over to the account level. Check the link in the wiki on page one.

I was able to add two LG Velvet to a single line in two separate transactions. Paid taxes and shipping. I'll get the bill credit to offset the monthly charge. Thank you OP. Will repped!

Hmm. Not sure what they mean by "any rate plan" in promotion. I thought even with a prepaid plan, the free device was eligible.

Interesting deal. Samsung phones are pretty much worthless, but great for non tech savvy people or even kids. On the other hand, LG Velvet is a beautiful phone with OLED display and good specs sheet. But LG is out of smartphone business and doubt they will update the software on their existing phones. I know it received the Android 11 update a few days ago. But free is free, can't complain too much ( if you don't mind two year contract of course )
