Best way to buy the Velvet (or other free device):
1. Open T-Mobile app on your phone and go to "Account" tab
2. Tap the big square with your line in it. It's ok if that's not the line you're going to put the velvet on.
3. Tap "Upgrade device"
4. Tap "all devices"
5. If a popup shows asking what you'd like to do today, close it with the X at the top right
6. At the top, be sure the dropdown says "You are upgrading a current device"
7. Scroll to the very bottom and find the velvet and tap it
8. Hit upgrade my line. From there you can pick which line to actually buy the device on.

Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

ya'll never had to pay off the eip early to move the discount to the acct level? coz the wiki says everything has to be paid off first to get the discount later in order to get the new promo added, this is confusing lol
so i guess it matters when the eip was started then?
select choice here too, makes me nervous when messing with the acct lol
were all the eips new from this year or did they start years ago? maybe just new eips can't be stacked all on the same lines... theres so many different experiences on this
