I just got the iPhone 12 Mini with Straight Talk at Walmart for $299.99.

AT&T has a deal where if your phone is in perfect condition, they will take any phone worth $290 or more and give you $1,000 off the new 13 Pro and Pro Max for the Cyber Monday deal.
The great thing is, the 12 Mini that you get new from Walmart, sits at exactly $290 for the trade in value.
Afterwards, I went to AT&T to give them the 12 Mini brand new in the box and surprisingly, even though I didn't unlock it through straight talk or anything, they accepted it.
I was able to get $1,000 off the Sierra Blue iPhone 13 Pro Max 128gb and paid a downpayment of $188.
$88 was the sales tax and the extra $100 was for an upgrade to the Max model.
They told me the phone gets unlocked after 36 months, and the $27.77 per month will show up on the AT&T bill and automatically pay itself off using the trade-in credit every month.
Final price for the 13 Pro Max came out to be $488. $300 from the 12 Mini, and $188 for the upgrade. If you were to get the regular 13 Pro, it would be $388 total.
If you do get this deal using a current AT&T account, you won't have to pay for a new line, but you will if you don't currently have an AT&T account.

Was thinking of going to Best Buy and trading an xr for the $800 off the 13 pro
Sam's Club offering same deal plus $100 (existing) to $350 (new customer) in additional gift cards. This is an increase from Cyber Week.
Costco deal is worse at only $925 max credit.
Alternatively, Best Buy has a $630 trade-in value for the iPhone 12 Mini with the T-Mobile deal which also offers $200 in bill credits (over 24 months) if you are looking for $830 in gift cards and bill credits in only 24 months. I think the sales tax on the iPhone 13 is reduced by the trade value so it could be as high as almost $680 to $700 effectve value depending on the sales tax on the $630.

I did not activate straight talk. I switched on the phone and went thru basic set up. I had to connect to WiFi so it could do some activation. And gave it to them.

The ones who offer this 250 port in offer are not target employees and will be wearing business casual dress and holding an iPad to complete orders.
The second who do not offer these additional savings are wearing target uniforms that say target tech and are black shirts, who ring out orders on the regular Pos system.
Is there a way to find out which Target would have the 250$ offer?
