This is cheaper than I purchased it for at Microcenter in the last month. Put the community firmware on there from the beginning because it will make your life easier.

A video comparing the Ender 3 V2 vs this printer. Looks like Ender 3 V2 is a better printer compared to this one and cheaper.

If you have the money, buy a Prusa right now while they are on sale. They are 100x better then anything creatily makes.

I want a Prusa Mini for my kiddos (and myself), but it won't get here in time for Christmas. How does this stack up? I don't mind tinkering, if necessary.

Pretty certain 799 is their sale price. I've been looking like a hawk too 😭. I ended up caving and just settled for a cr-10 v2.

Well, yeah. In most cases when you need to spend two to three times as much for something it's higher quality. I don't think many people are going to say that any of the Ender series are better printer than a Prusa, it's the price that's the barrier for someone dipping toes into the hobby for the first time.

Free shipping + extras right now. Prusa's are not cheap, but they are good. If you get an Ender you will be fighting with it for ages, if something is wrong the company is very little help. My first printer was an Ender 5 Pro and I have long awaited black friday for this years Prusa deal.

I've been printing with an Ender for a few months successfully after only a day or two of tuning, and i've seen people use them for years without issue as long as you maintain it/upgrade a few small things. While i would 100% agree that the out of the box experience is better on a Prusa, i wouldn't say you'd be fighting with an ender for "ages" as long as you have decent Google-Fu.

I've got 2 ender's and 3 cr10s..

Have printed 100's of hours between them and while things break it isn't that hard to fix them and get them back up and running. Smilie
