Well if this had DDR5 in it it would probably cost twice what it does now given the increase cost of RAM and MOBO. DDR5 has been out of stock since release pretty much everywhere too.
Realistically if I were to build this myself today, here is the price breakdown below. Some of the item costs will reset by tomorrow as the Cyber Monday deal will be over by then:
  • MSI Z690 - $219 (avg $200 - $470 depending which manufacturer)
  • Intel Core i7-12700K - $419.99
  • Corsair 16 GB(2 x 8GB) 3200 RAM- $77.99 (avg $69.99-$147.99)
  • Crucial 1 TB M.2 NVMe - $109.99 (avg $89.99 - $189 depending on R/W speed)
  • EVGA 600W PSU $64.99
  • 3060 Ti 8 GB $900 - (MSRP was $399 but we all know for how much these are selling for, if I were to get it separately I couldn't get it for below $900)
  • Corsaid 240mm RGB cooling - $119.99
  • Windows 10 Home - $139 (free upgrade to Windows 11 home)
  • Generic ATX tower Case - $75
  • Mouse/Keyboard - $29.99
Total (about) : $2155.94

Microcenter is not a choice for the majority of us so and for the sake of keeping it real, I didn't line CPU price with Microcenter's.

You missed the case which this is like a $50 montech level, and the AIO water cooler (basically around $60 cooler master level). Otherwise, good price breakdown, but I would never use in-store-only microcenter prices for comparison purposes. That's like using local tag sale prices.

You really should adjust the price to be the list price after coupon and in the title put price + $50 Amazon gc. Manufacture specific points don't count against the price, and neither do gift cards. So the price should say $1649 + Amazon GC since you'll pay tax and be out on $1649.
