I've used one of these as a portable laptop stand that could bring my laptop monitor up to eye level. As part of kit including a wireless mouse and compact, tenkeyless keyboard this was all something I could fit in my backpack and maximize productivity while out and about.

Good luck!

beware, i bought these last year and they broke from the joints, very flimsy and cheap plastic
Same here. I bought two of these to elevate my legs in the toilet. Both of them broke in about a month.

Yep I posted them, but was a year ago. The up to 250lbs ones weren't part of that offer, and I don't know if that price is ever coming back, even on the up to 200lb ones (and I think their free shipping ends today).

hazard product EEK!

it's handle and top of patten cause it easy breakable.

This step stool is fragile and is only suitable for children. I bought it and used it twice last year and the top was cracked, and I did a refund.

I have a red one for many years now, and it's held up pretty well. I fluctuate between 180-190lbs. The top piece has a slight curve to it from me standing on it, but no fractures or cracks.

edit: the trick is to not stand with the front or heel of your foot on the middle where the handle is. Spread your weight out, my toes and heel is over the edge of the stool when I stand on it.

My doc says a bright red stool is nothing to be worried about, it's the dark red ones that are cause for concern.

If just the weight of one of your legs broke this thing then you might have a problem unrelated to the quality of the stool.
