I had one experience redeeming the AllState warranty for a pair of WF XM3 I bought on Ebay that came with the same warranty as this pair and it was flawless. I bought the pair of XM3 for $80 and Allstate gave me back $60 because the battery died and they said I could keep it/not send it to them.
found out I could replace the batteries and tried it and it's working great again so I basically got the pair for $20 + replacement batteries + tax I paid on it.

Sony ANC makes some white noise, MX4 too.. Bose doesn't.
Taking calls next to blower just for test - Bose is ok, Sony is not.
Bose continues with 20year old design - no auto pause, no touch control, no easy way to find the pause button when somebody interrupts you. Still, I cannot go to Sony.

So what I am saying is in overall performance, the most important thing for Headphones is Sound Quality and I am very sure SONY wins in this category. so is ANC and etc.
There are so many Youtubers out there already tested in many specific ways.
Oh one more biggest difference and the most important thing is that the SONY supports LDAC which is the highest CODEC you can get currently. The BOSE QC35 II only supports SBC and AAC. Not even APTX or APTXHD. You can clearly hear the difference between the LDAC vs SBC or AAC if you don't have hearing problem. So much clearer sound you'll experience. Why would you pay so much more for 2017 tech that doesn't even support USB C nor better CODECs. If you love BOSE's clear sounding and very well managed bass not overly done, then you should love SONY more with a better sense of rhythm and dynamics and and earthier bass and more insight.
