This one seems to come directly from Bose AND it includes a 2 year warranty by Allstate so a pretty good deal. The refurb QC35 I bought last year from Bose came in pretty much brand new in a generic white box

I had one experience redeeming the AllState warranty for a pair of WF XM3 I bought on Ebay that came with the same warranty as this pair and it was flawless. I bought the pair of XM3 for $80 and Allstate gave me back $60 because the battery died and they said I could keep it/not send it to them.

found out I could replace the batteries and tried it and it's working great again so I basically got the pair for $20 + replacement batteries + tax I paid on it.

Comfort is not tiny bit better but a lot. Everything else doesn't matter. But ok:
Sony ANC makes some white noise, MX4 too.. Bose doesn't.
Taking calls next to blower just for test - Bose is ok, Sony is not.
Bose continues with 20year old design - no auto pause, no touch control, no easy way to find the pause button when somebody interrupts you. Still, I cannot go to Sony.
I don't agreed many things yo u said above. But don't wanna argue about it. So many reviewers have already picked the SONY WH 100xm3 over the BOSE. Reminds of my younger brother who bought pretty much all BOSE line ups that he don't even know what is really good sounding like. lol.

Bought the new ones from Woot for the same price on Monday.
$159 for brand new? Nice! I'm surprised that didn't make it to slickdeals. That would've been a front page post. I think the cheapest it's been is $179, but I could be wrong.

I'm seeing the 700's [ebay.com] for $224, not $199
He may have been referring to the $199 deal that was going on for several days. It ended yesterday I think.

Just to jump in on you and Uzevla's conversation, does the 100xm3 have the headband breaking issue? I remember wanting some Sony headphones last year, but there were a lot of complaints about breakage. Not sure if it was the 100xm3 or some other ones.

Bose has the same deal on their own site. I believe $179 for NEW ones. $20 off for email sign up, or $30 off for id.me (only applied over $199 - tip: put two in cart, apply id.me, then take one out. $30 off will still apply). Free 2 day shipping, free return shipping within 90 days. I'd say it's better than ebay.

Id.me only has few categories. Any tips how to use?

how is this compare to the bose 700 headset on the previous deal?
The 700 are more comfortable, have better ANC (which you can change the level for), and have a better sound, largely due to the 700 having an EQ. If you can spare the extra $40-some, do the 700. But both are magnificent.

Sorry, there's really no going around id.me. If you don't qualify, you don't qualify.

No farking way. I Got both and the Qc35 is much more comfortable than the Nc700. That's also what majority od the reviews reports. The Nc700 applies too much pressure to the ears. It's definitely not comfortable for long hours

You're definitely gonna need that warranty for the QC35 I. It has a widely known defect to where it wouldn't turn off. I got Bose to replace my refurbished I with brand new IIs.

I got mine when it fist came out. I don't really use it everyday since I have many other headphones and TWS (I always use TWS-BEOPLAY EQ now) but mine is in mint condition. Your case may vary since I am not a heavy everyday user of this particular headphones. But I've had my Bose QC35 II for over 2 years and I've had two major issues, BT connectivity and the buttons weren't responsive as I've desired. So I ended up giving it out to my brother who loves Bose products. And of course, this might be just me.
So what I am saying is in overall performance, the most important thing for Headphones is Sound Quality and I am very sure SONY wins in this category. so is ANC and etc.
There are so many Youtubers out there already tested in many specific ways.
Oh one more biggest difference and the most important thing is that the SONY supports LDAC which is the highest CODEC you can get currently. The BOSE QC35 II only supports SBC and AAC. Not even APTX or APTXHD. You can clearly hear the difference between the LDAC vs SBC or AAC if you don't have hearing problem. So much clearer sound you'll experience. Why would you pay so much more for 2017 tech that doesn't even support USB C nor better CODECs. If you love BOSE's clear sounding and very well managed bass not overly done, then you should love SONY more with a better sense of rhythm and dynamics and and earthier bass and more insight.
