In for one. These are LiPo batteries. Only charge them before flight and store at 40-50%. Safeguard themas they can burn down your house. Get a LiPo protection bag or what i use is a metallic military ammo box and keep away from flammable objects. Enjoy.

I am debating what's better as a starter. The mini 1 or mini 2.
I ordered a mini 1 - fly more combo for 230 from dji ebay. It comes this week. But has 30 day returns.
It does say the mini 2 has more advances. It has better controls and further range. But is it worth 200 more?
One review I saw said get the mini 2 over mini 1. But another review said if you have the mini 1 - don't upgrade to the mini 2. Instead - go for a bigger more stable drone - one you decide if you like the hobby or not.
Any advice?
At the price point, the Mini1 is a no brainer. The only real drawback for learning to fly is WiFi vs Ocusync connection, but thats only an issue if you're dealing with a lot of interference or trying to fly long distances out of your sight...which you really shouldnt be doing as a beginner anyway.
And you'll either discover its fun, but its a toy you use for a few weeks and forget (and thus save yourself 50% in spending), or its something you really like and you'll want an Air or FPV or some other pricier iteration For actual flying and video/photo output, the Mini 1 v Mini 2 isnt really much of a difference.
Saw this yesterday on my own while browsing eBay and didn't pull the trigger, thinking it was basically the regular price because I didn't see it on SD yet. Was in the market, so wish I had just gone ahead and gotten the darn thing.
For those on the fence about the Mini 1 vs the Mini 2, keep in mind that's it's not just increased video resolution, range, wind resistance, or the tiniest bit more flight time that you're getting, but the Mini 2 also has some picture presets/modes that the Mini 1 lacks, like Panaroma & 360-degree photo taking modes.
Buyer beware this company has a delay with shipping and failed to notify me until late. Took 3 days to finally get a response back via eBay. Guy who answered simply said it was going to be a while before it shipped, no date in mind. Stay away
same here. my Mini 1 fly more combo still hasn't shipped yet
i think it's hilarious how as an ebay seller myself, if i don't ship within x days my ratings/performance get trashed and buyers can open a claim against me
but if DJI takes 1 1/2 weeks to ship, ebay has no problem.
Question. So what batteries are better? These mini 2 lipo or the mini 1 li ion? I do not want to burn my house down. LOL. But what is the difference? It only adds 1 min of flight.
I feel the Mini 2 is a better drone, mostly because of the move from Wifi RC signal (Mini 1) to Occusync (Mini 2). That said, it was nice that the Mini 1 had the more user friendly Lithium Ion batteries, which can handle being stored empty or full better than LiPo can.
I think LiPo burning houses down is a bit of hyperbole. They are slightly more sensitive batteries, but you'd generally need a really abused and swollen battery for it to ignite.
And if Mini 2 battery management is anything like Phantom 3 thru- Mavic lines, then they have a self-discharge system that brings them from 100% down to 50-60% for storage automatically - which is a great feature.
Does nobody really like Amazon? For those of you wanting something sooner, I don't see why you just dont try your luck with a "Used" Amazon Warehouse one. I say "try your luck" because mine came new in bulk packaging.
Has anyone who purchased this actually had theirs ship? Mine was expected to arrive at the latest today and hasn't shipped yet.
Heard back from them today. ""New message from: djiofficialstore (8,961)
sorry for the inconvenience but we have run out of stock we should be getting more but it will take a couple of weeks to get them. But if you want we can cancel and refund you your money.""

That's lame, I ordered on Dec 2nd and still no update. I sent them a message too but still no word back. I saw in another thread where some people who ordered yesterday had it ship same day... confusing.
